Save the Date for Bird Songs 2023 – Thursday, May 11th from 6 – 9pm

Bird Songs, now in its eighth year, has become one of our most anticipated events featuring some of Nashville’s most talented singer/songwriters. Presented in the round in a relaxed and comfortable setting on the Center’s campus, this event has sold out every year.

Past performers have included Grammy nominees, chart-topping performers, and some of country music’s most promising new stars. Guests will enjoy an intimate and personal musical performance as well as a well-appointed open bar and a satisfying Lowcountry supper.

Matt Alderman

Matt is a songwriter and producer from Chicago, IL. In 2021, Matt experienced a stellar year with his first #1 hit, “Nobody”, that he co-wrote with Dylan Scott. Matt also won the honor of the 2021 AIMP Nashville Rising Songwriter of the Year. Matt’s songs have been recorded by artists like Lee Brice, Brett Young, Dustin Lynch, Granger Smith, and Chase Rice.

Trannie Anderson

Anderson has a knack for painting poetic portraits of small town living set to dynamic, heartfelt melodies in a fresh yet timeless way. The ability to artfully walk the line of deeply authentic storytelling in a universal fashion has made her a key collaborator for many artists. She signed a co-publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing in 2018 and since then has had songs recorded by artists such as Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, Gabby Barrett, and others.

Aaron Goodvin

In addition to being an electrifying live performer, Goodvin is an incomparable singer/songwriter whose music resonates with fans worldwide. His dossier includes two critically acclaimed albums, two number one singles, several top 10s, a 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year Award, a 2020 JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year, and tour with Rascal Flatts.

Phillip Lammonds

Phillip has penned numerous tunes for and with artists like Darius Rucker, Lee Brice, Edwin McCain, Blake Shelton, and Hootie and The Blowfish, among others. He has recently signed a deal to write songs with CURB records in Nashville. His soulful, emotional style has been formed by many influences ranging from Ralph Stanley to the Rolling Stones.
