I see a world-class wildlife hospital equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed by exceptional professionals who are advancing the practice of avian medicine. I see research informing conservation strategies across the Southeast and beyond, helping protect vulnerable species before they reach a crisis point. I see our education programs inspiring thousands of children and adults to appreciate the essential role birds play in healthy ecosystems and empowering them to become advocates for conservation in their own communities.
Turning that vision into reality will require more than ambition, it will require investment. To meet the growing needs of birds and the communities we serve, we must strengthen every part of our organization. That means expanding and maintaining our facilities, investing in cutting-edge equipment and technology, attracting and retaining extraordinary clinicians, educators, and conservation professionals, and ensuring that our campus can support increasing demand for our programs. Just as importantly, we must build the financial foundation that allows us to innovate, respond to emerging challenges, and remain a strong, sustainable organization for decades to come.
