Bird Songs – 10th Anniversary

Celebrating its tenth year, Bird Songs has established itself as a highly anticipated event showcasing Nashville’s most talented singer/songwriters. Set in the round in a relaxed and comfortable setting on the Center’s campus, this event has sold out every year.
Due to popular demand, the Avian Conservation Center is now hosting Bird Songs on two separate event nights – Thursday, May 8th AND Friday May 9th.
Owls are creatures of the crepuscular hours – the transitional times of dusk and dawn. The timing of their activity along with their characteristic silent flight make them very difficult to see in the wild. Visit the Center for Birds of Prey for a special, nighttime program that focuses entirely on owls.
These highly popular 4-hour programs allow for unfettered photography of nearly 15 species of birds of prey from around the world both in static perching shots and also in untethered free flight.
Photographers will have the unique opportunity to:
Join Expert photographer, Chris Smith of Chris & Cami Photography, for an in-depth workshop focusing on the photographic study of birds of prey, both in motion and while perching.
Tickets are $200 for the half-day experience and $350 for the full-day experience.
The Center will be closed but please come see us at Marion Square for multiple demonstrations throughout the weekend.
