Russell Sutton

Russell Sutton was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  He grew up around the country music scene with his dad playing guitar and tour managing for Austin native Rick Trevino.  After graduating from Texas A&M and spending 6 years working at Dell Computers, he cashed in all of his chips in 2014 and moved to Nashville to pursue his songwriting dream after a weekend at the Austin Songwriters Group Symposium.  In 2018, Russell signed his first publishing deal and spent the year touring the country as a part of the duo Grassroots Revival, sharing the stage with the likes of Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Billy Currington, Brothers Osborne, Cole Swindell, Walker Hayes, and others.

As a songwriter, 2021 brought his first #1 single “My Boy” by Elvie Shane as well as a joint venture publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing and Droptine Publishing.  In 2022, Russell landed a 2-week #1 hit with Nate Smith’s “Whiskey on You”, as well as cuts by Warren Zeiders, Drew Green, Dylan Carmichael, Dalton Dover, Erin Kinsey and more.

Last year, he landed 4 new songs by Chris Young – “Knee Deep in Neon”, Nate Smith – “Rather Be Lonely”, Kane Brown “Fiddle in the Band”, and Morgan Evans “Say What You Want”.  He resides in Nashville, TN with his wife, Melissa, daughter Phoebe, and their dog Bubs.

Josiah

Josiah Siska

Josiah Siska makes country music the way he lives: steady, sincere, and rooted in something real. Raised in Georgia on a foundation of Keith Whitley, Don Williams, and Johnny Cash, he grew up with a deep respect for songs that didn’t chase attention but earned it. That influence is etched into his sound — calm on the surface but carrying weight underneath.

Over the past few years, Josiah has carved his own lane in country music. His debut EP, Three Chords at a Time, marked the first step. The recent of “3 Tequila Floor,” sparked a global line-dance movement. Following the success of 3 Tequila Floor, Josiah released “Do Si Dough” which has amassed millions of views and stream across socials in just a few months.

Josiah is entering a new season of music shaped by the miles he’s traveled. The next chapter is clearer, sharper, and more his own than ever before. Josiah holds a deep responsibility to pay tribute to traditional country music. With new work on the way for 2026, Josiah carries the kind of honesty and grit that have defined country music from the start.

2023 Phillip Lammonds–4

Phillip Lammonds

Phillip Lammonds is a songwriter and talented instrumentalist from the musically rich mountains of North Carolina. From his childhood in the mountains to his time in the South Carolina Lowcountry, it was this melting pot of sounds and rhythms that formed his musical sensibilities.

After college, Phillip was a founder of The Blue Dogs, a beloved and critically acclaimed bluegrass and rock inspired jam band.

He then started his family in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina while working as a fishing guide, a falconer, and the co-owner of the island’s Sotheby’s real estate company. All the while, Phillip wrote songs and traveled to Nashville to pitch them.

After many years, lots of miles traveled to Nashville, and cuts on major artists, Phillip moved to Music City to pursue songwriting full time. He stepped onto the scene with a publishing deal from Curb Entertainment.

Phillip’s songs have been recorded by artists like Hootie and the Blowfish, Josh Turner, Lee Brice, Charles Esten, Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan, Edwin McCain, Jerrod Niemann, Mo Pitney, and Dylan Scott.

After more than 15 years of writing literally hundreds of songs, in 2024 Phillip released his first solo album, Cowboy Things. The Lee Brice-produced project features heartfelt, plainspoken tracks from across Lammonds’ career. He boils the big picture down to bite-sized chunks of truth with help from buddies including Brice, Darius Rucker, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Pam Tillis and actor Bill Murray.

TJB

Terri Jo Box

Raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, singer-songwriter Terri Jo Box has spent the last 26 years as a forerunner in the flourishing Nashville music scene. Growing up writing poetry, singing in church and inspired by country music, Box moved from East Texas to Music City in 1999 and immersed herself in the Nashville writing community.  She wrote for MERF Music Group from 2010-2016. In 2019, she became the flagship writer signed to Jonas Group Publishing. She co-wrote “What If We Don’t”, Ashley McBryde’s current single which impacted country radio on Feb 23 as the most added song in the nation.

She has earned placement on four GRAMMY-nominated albums including two cuts on Lainey Wilson’s ACM, CMA and GRAMMY Award-winning Bell Bottom Country, Miranda Lambert’s 2018 ACM Album of the Year, Weight of These Wings, bluegrass group Sister Sadie’s “Sister Sadie II” and  McBryde’s debut, “Girl Going Nowhere”, who also earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for her performance of “American Scandal” which Box co-wrote. She has also written songs recorded by Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Gary LeVox, Joe Nichols, Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless, Trent Tomlinson, Gwen Sebastian, Gary Chapman, Wade Hayes, Michelle Wright, Annie Bosko, Bryan Martin, Tyler Halverson, Pryor Baird and many more.

Honoring her humble beginnings Box, created the popular Music Row Freakshow writer’s round in 2014 which she hosts twice weekly. With appearances around the nation and internationally, a slew of writing accolades, and a stacked writing calendar, Box remains one of the most sought-after assets in a writer’s room and shows no signs of slowing down as she continues to set the bar yet higher for herself.
